The race to 1,000,000 followers will be achieved in a few months by some accounts. With such strong followings, many new or inactive Twitter users may not think that there are top accounts that will follow them back.

I love this incredible 15 minute video.

There are so many lessons in this short movie. There is such an essential need in each of us to have positive feedback from other people. Even if we do not know someone at all, if they say something nice about us it validates our feelings.

Take a few minutes and just see if it has the same effect on you as it did on me. As I age, I realize that we all want to be appreciated and accepted. If we will only seek first to accept and approve others, perhaps they will do the same. As leaders, we need to reach out to them first and bring them into an accepting environment.

If we want validation then we must give validation to others. If we want to people to treat us better then we should treat them better. If we want fulfillment then give fulfillment to others.

This short video has inspired me to keep lifting others up and to never tire of encouraging others.
